Music has been my passion from a very early age. I started playing the drum kit when I was 10 years old and with an ever-increasing interest in music, picked up a variety of other instruments including the acoustic & electric guitar, singing, bass guitar, piano, and ukulele.
Being a mostly self-taught musician, I have gained the bulk of my knowledge from my own studies and live experience, having moved to London at the age of 19 to pursue a career in music. Since then, I have built strong relationships with a wide range of musicians and have gone on to create music featured on BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 6, Radio X, BBC Introducing, Classic Rock, Amazing Radio UK, Amazing Radio USA, etc.
I have spent the last decade touring the UK & Europe supporting prolific artists such as Black Honey, Tom Meighan (Kasabian), The Blockheads (Ian Dury), The Kills, Sunset Sons, The Subways and Arcane Roots. In addition to tour supports, I've performed live at most of the UK’s largest festivals including Reading & Leeds, Isle of Wight, Y Not?, TRNSMT, Victorious, Sheffield Tramlines, The Alternative Escape, Liverpool Sound City, Margate Wonderland and Wilkestock to name a few. I have also recorded in professional studios across England as both a permanent and session musician at the likes of Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios, Metropolis Studios, Monnow Valley, The Premises Studios, Echo Zoo Studios and Livingston Studios.
In 2018 I had the privilege of filling in for Ben from Starsailor on the drums at Enjoy Music Festival Aberdeen.
Most recently, I have joined The Howlers. We have just released our EP 'Further Down The Line' as well as our live record 'Live At Metropolis Studios'. Tickets are available here for our upcoming January/ February tour. In addition, I have sessioned bass and electric guitar for The Filthy Piece's debut album and previously recorded two EP's under the Major Influence Record Label with Natural Mystery Museum.
